Route
Multan to Lahore by motorway in about four hours, with a driver who knows the M-4 / M-3 run and Lahore's traffic at the other end.
Lahore is our most requested intercity route. Since the M-3 motorway (Lahore to Abdul Hakeem) opened, most of the drive is on the motorway: north from Multan on the M-4, then onto the M-3 to Lahore. It is an easy, predictable road, and most trips take around four hours depending on traffic at the Lahore end.
People make this trip for hospital appointments, university admissions, family weddings and flights from Allama Iqbal International Airport. A driver means you arrive rested and do not have to deal with Lahore's ring road and inner-city traffic yourself.
The usual route is M-4 north, then the M-3 to Lahore. The older GT Road (N-5) via Sahiwal and Okara is an option if you need to stop in those towns.
Entering Lahore at rush hour can add 30 to 60 minutes. For flights from Allama Iqbal International Airport, tell us your flight time and we will plan the departure from Multan around it.
Motorway service areas along the route have fuel, food and prayer facilities, so a comfortable mid-way break is easy to plan.
Going to Lahore and back in one day is possible for a single appointment, but it means more than eight hours on the road. An overnight stay is more comfortable.
